Given the success of the previous European Congress on Biotechnology “ECB13”, it make good sense for the EFB to approach The Shotwell Company to produce a version 2. Improved, simplified and cleaner in the overall design direction, a major decision to highlight event sponsors and partners via static logos versus an animated Flash logo cycle provided multiple benefits to all parties, including the ability for the EFB to manage most of the logo additions and modifications themselves. In the last few days before the September 2009 event, The Shotwell Company had to work very closely with EFB contacts as last minute sponsorship and programme modifications came pouring in over the weekend.
